CMS Posts Approved Version of Oasis-C Data SetHSS Remains on Target for 2010 Compliance
The Office of Management and Budget approved the final version of the OASIC-C data set on July 27, 2009. On August 10, 2009, CMS posted the final version on its web site
The HSS Project 2010 team finished reviewing the final version of the data set, and has added the final changes to our current project plan! Since our last announcement, the team has continued to work hard on bringing 2010 compliance to ADVANTAGE and Analyzer. We are on track to demonstrate both 2010-compliant products at the annual NAHC conference in Los Angeles in October.
Draft versions of the scannable OASIS forms will also be shown at NAHC. These forms will be ready for your branches to order in mid-November, providing you ample time to train your teams before the January 1, 2010, go-live date.
We are close to completion on ADVANTAGE changes mandated for OASIS-C and will conduct Quality Assurance testing this fall. We will also complete necessary changes and QA for Analyzer 2010 compliance this fall.
More announcements will follow as we move toward completing our 2010-compliance project. The CMS User Guide is slated for release in mid-September. Look for an HSS announcement about the CMS User Guide, and watch for more news on our progress as we prepare for a toward a successful 2010 launch!
